Ticket prices for Noah Kahan’s April 29, 2027, concert at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa are set between $59.95 and $399.95 before fees. To secure these seats, select buyers will face a new requirement: biometric identity verification. Ticketmaster, the platform handling the sale, is working with a third-party vendor called Persona to filter out automated purchasing bots and ticket brokers during the presale phase.

The verification process involves specific actions by the user. According to a statement provided by Ticketmaster, the vast majority of fans will not see any change in their experience. However, some customers will be asked to complete a short security check using a quick selfie. In rarer instances, users may need to upload a state-issued identification card. Ticketmaster describes Persona as a trusted third-party service designed to prevent fraudulent activity while keeping the process as simple as possible for legitimate buyers.

Kahan’s Tampa stop is the third date on his 31-show “The Last of the Bugs” world tour and serves as the only scheduled performance in Florida. The singer last performed in the Tampa area in October 2023 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. More recently, he played two shows at Orlando’s Kia Center in June 2026. For this upcoming tour, Ticketmaster has imposed a limit of six tickets per order. Eligible Spotify Premium subscribers will have an advantage, allowing them to purchase up to two tickets during an exclusive presale window.

The timeline for ticket access is tight. Registration for early access sales closes on November 5. A separate presale window lists an early registration cutoff for November 6. Artist presale access opens at noon on November 10. Spotify Premium subscribers will receive app notifications and access invitations starting at 9 a.m. on November 11. General public sales begin at noon on November 12.

Data privacy is a key concern for the biometric check. Ticketmaster’s website states that Persona retains biometric data for no more than 60 days following a successful verification. The company asserts that the information is encrypted and will not be sold or used to train artificial intelligence models. Officials have not yet confirmed how many total ticket applicants will be selected for these enhanced screenings or what specific secondary identification alternatives exist for fans who decline digital facial verification.

To combat inflated resale prices, tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be nontransferable. Fans can only resell their seats at their original price through the platform’s Face Value Exchange. This policy aims to keep the market stable during a high-demand event. The tour dates are set, and the digital infrastructure is in place, but the exact number of fans who will face the selfie requirement remains undefined until the presale begins.
