The Dallas Cowboys are listed as 4.5-point favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles for their Monday Night Football matchup, a line that reflects the Eagles' quarterback crisis rather than a stark difference in team performance. The total points line sits at 44.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles enter the game with a 2-4 record, matching the Cowboys' standing. Philadelphia's offense has been disrupted by the season-ending injury to Jalen Hurts. Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton was released earlier this season and has since declined to re-sign with the team. Backup Tanner McKee is expected to start, with running back Saquon Barkley listed as a likely participant if his return from injury is confirmed.

The Cowboys have maintained full health this season but have shown inconsistent results. Their defense has struggled to limit scoring, allowing multiple teams to move the ball efficiently. Last week, Dallas lost to the Green Bay Packers at home in a prime-time slot. The offense has produced high-scoring plays at times but also failed to convert in critical moments against the Packers.

Betting analysts view the 4.5-point spread as generous for the Cowboys given the Eagles' recent struggles. The recommendation is to take the Eagles plus 4.5 points. The logic rests on the belief that the Cowboys' defense will not shut down McKee completely, allowing Philadelphia to score enough points to stay within the margin of error. The Eagles have demonstrated the ability to drive the field and score touchdowns despite their injury issues.

Player prop markets show specific value in the Eagles' running game. Dameon Pierce, the Eagles' backup running back, is projected to rush for over 15.5 yards at odds of -112 on DraftKings. The line is low because sportsbooks expect Saquon Barkley to carry the primary workload. However, if Barkley plays, Pierce is expected to see limited snaps. The bet relies on the Eagles running the ball frequently enough to give Pierce a few carries against a Dallas run defense that has allowed high yardage totals all season.

On the Dallas side, CeeDee Lamb is projected to catch for over 78.5 receiving yards at odds of -113 on FanDuel. The Eagles' secondary is depleted by injuries, creating a mismatch for Lamb. While he has had two low-scoring games in a row, his previous performance against the Houston Texans showed he can generate large numbers against struggling defenses. The line is lower than at other sportsbooks, making it a more attractive option for bettors.

Tight end markets offer high odds for touchdowns. Jake Ferguson is available at +255 on DraftKings for an anytime touchdown. He has three touchdowns this season and is a reliable target in the red zone. Dallas Goedert is listed at +180 for an anytime touchdown on the same platform. Goedert is the most effective pass-catcher on the Eagles' roster and is expected to be targeted by McKee in short-yardage situations where the Cowboys may stack the box. The next scheduled event is the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field.
