Six live music performances are scheduled for venues across the Tampa Bay region this weekend.
The events span multiple genres and price points. Ticket costs range from $15 to $35, with two events offered at no charge. One venue accepts a pay-what-you-want donation. The shows take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Britnee Kellogg will perform at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa on Thursday at 8 p.m. The Vancouver native appeared on American Idol before releasing the 2024 album She’s Come a Long Way. Her tracks “Back of My Mind” and “Hey Mama” gained widespread online attention. She has previously shared stages with Blake Shelton and Kane Brown. Tickets for her show are priced at $34.
On Friday, Jeremy Carter will lead The Jeremy Carter Group at the Imagine Museum in St. Petersburg from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Carter serves as the artist-in-residence at the Palladium Theater. His work includes collaborations with Terrace Martin and Tony Monaco. General admission tickets cost $15.
The comedy rapper Scoochie Boochie is set to appear at The Orpheum in Tampa at 7 p.m. on Friday. His 2025 breakthrough included the viral song “Car Butt.” He has performed in the Grand Rapids and Chicago comedy scenes. Ensembles Groovebox and Swell Rell will also perform. Tickets are available for $35.
Two free events are scheduled for the weekend. Brain Emoji will provide an improvised set at Zodiac Nightclub Tampa Bay on Friday from 10:30 p.m. to midnight. The band blends post-rock, jam, and electronic music without a setlist. This performance serves as a pre-party for the Unusual Noise festival. The festival itself takes place on Saturday at The Moontower at Dunedin Brewery from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. It features original performances and improvisation by acts such as Skerlik, Chaunces, and Mutant Fusion Collective.
Kip Kelly will close the weekend's schedule at NoiseMakers in St. Petersburg on Saturday at 7 p.m. The singer-songwriter recorded his debut album in Memphis in 2025. He will perform songs from his new record, Songs From A Quiet House. Kelly has shared stages with Jim Lauderdale and Joe Pug. Admission to his show is free.
